Ashland, Ohio – April, 2001 – Hydromatic is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Flood Guard Battery Backup System. The new FG-A1 system operates a secondary pump in case of primary pump or electrical failure. The FG-A1 Battery Backup monitors four different conditions with LED indicators, and features a pump test and reset button. The FG-A1’s control board sounds warning alarm and alarm light when the Battery Backup System is activated. Hydromatic, founded in 1959, is located in Ashland, Ohio, with additional distribution in Canada.
