Powerful line-up of high head wastewater pumps introduced
ASHLAND, OHIO, October 18, 1999 – Myers is excited to announce the introduction of a high head non-clog series of wastewater pumps. All pumps are available in standard or explosion-proof construction, and proudly carry the CSA and FM (explosion-proof only) seals of approval. The 4VE and 4VEX (explosion-proof) submersible wastewater pumps are a heavy-duty 4” non-clog series capable of passing a 3” spherical solid. These pumps handle capacities to 650 GPM, and heads to 172 feet. The 4VL and 4VLX four-inch series are designed especially for high flow applications such as municipal lift stations, treatment plants, transfer stations and dewatering. They are capable of pumping heads to 275 feet and flows to 2100 GPM. The 8” submersible non-clogs (8SM and 8SMX) are for the same applications as the 4VL series.
