NORTH AURORA, IL, May 11, 2001 -- Mike Schrock, President of Pentair Water Products Americas, recently named three individuals to General Manager positions within the Pentair Pump Group. This action was taken to "move decision making closer to the customer and to provide easier access, increased speed, and a greater focus on product development and time to market improvements", according to Schrock.
Dave Angelo has been named as Vice President and General Manager of Fairbanks Morse Pump Company, a unit of the Pentair Pump Group. Angelo has over 23 years in the pump industry serving in varying management roles with Goulds Pump and General Signal Pump Company. In this new role Angelo will be responsible for all aspects of Fairbanks Morse operations, including P & L management, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Purchasing.
Kathie Buetow has been named as Vice President and General Manager of the Hydromatic and Myers Pump Companies, units of the Pentair Pump Group. Buetow has over 13 years in the pump industry serving in varying management roles with both Myers and Hydromatic. In this new role Buetow will be responsible for all aspects of Ashland Operations, including P & L management, Marketing and Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing as well as her current responsibilities in the Canadian Operation.
William (Bill) Waltz has been named as Vice President and General Manager of Aurora Pump Company, a unit of the Pentair Pump Group. In addition to his role as Vice President and General Manager, Waltz will continue to maintain direct responsibility for sourcing for the entire Water Technologies Americas organization, and for the International Sales unit located in the North Aurora facility. Bill has over 15 years of leadership experience, including key management roles with Deloitte & Touche, GE Aerospace and General Signal. In this new role Waltz will be responsible for all aspects of Aurora operations, including P & L management, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing, as well as his current responsibilities in International sales and sourcing.
