Denver, CO, (May 8, 2000) - (Aurora Pump), one of the world leaders in Fire Pump Products and Accessories, today announced its plan to attend the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) World Fire Safety Congress & Exposition in Denver, Colorado, from May 15-17, 2000. As an exhibitor, Aurora Pump will give the public an opportunity to preview its newest and most innovative fire safety solutions in booth 577 at the Colorado Convention Center.

As the largest fire protection and life safety trade show in North America, the World Fire Safety Congress & Exposition is designed to give the public access to the fire protection industry's best known suppliers, provide an opportunity for NFPA members to have a voice in NFPA's full-consensus code-making process, and serve as a premier education conference. Those in attendance can visit nearly 300 exhibits, take part in almost 100 education sessions (May 14-17) led by well-respected industry leaders, and if an NFPA member, vote on more than 35 NFPA codes and standards.

David Goddard, Vice President of Marketing & Sales states, " The fire protection solutions that Aurora plans to feature at the NFPA World Fire Safety Congress & Exposition include: horizontal and vertical split case fire pumps, vertical turbine pumps, new stackable jockey pumps and our new fire pump systems.

"NFPA is delighted to have Aurora as an exhibitor for our May meeting," says Kerry Mahoney, NFPA expositions manager. "With organizations like Aurora demonstrating their impressive line of fire safety products, we've been able to make this the largest gathering of fire protection professionals in North America."

Special features of the World Fire Safety Congress & Exposition include a randomly chosen $1,000 daily cash prize for one lucky attendee, complimentary coffee breaks and buffet lunches, and the May 15 performance of Diamond Rio, four-time recipient of the Country Music Association's "Vocal Group of the Year." Exhibit times are May 15 - 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, May 16 - 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, and May 17 - 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
