David E. Goddard Promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Aurora and All Fire Pump Markets

March 30, 2000 – North Aurora, IL - Aurora Pump today announced the promotion of David E. Goddard to Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Aurora Pump Company and all Fire Pump Markets.

David started his career with Aurora on August 16, 1971, as a Submittal Technician. Following a strong start, and an elevation to Senior Technical status, he was named Sales Engineer in December of 1976. Since that time he has held nearly every sales and marketing leadership position available, including Marketing Specialist, Inside & Outside Sales Rep, Municipal Sales Manager, Commercial Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Lead Regional Sales Manager, Director of Marketing, National Sales Manager, and (most recently) Director of Marketing and Sales.

David has been instrumental in the long-term growth and success of the Aurora Pump Company. He is a team player and an excellent leader. He has always been a strong customer advocate, and there is no question that his knowledge and experience will continue to help Aurora build its leadership position in the industry.
